Does ProbateRisk replace our CRM?
No. Your CRM stays the centerpiece and keeps doing what it does well. ProbateRisk is the layer on top: the interview clients actually finish, the judgment that routes the right files to attorneys, the drafting engine, and a console that shows results in real time. Submitted interviews land in your CRM as matters with the fields filled.
Which practice management systems do you work with?
Lawmatics and Clio, with connectors built for both. A submitted interview arrives as a matter with contact details, tier, and flags filled, and generated drafts follow into the same file. If your firm runs something else, ask, the connector layer was built to extend.
Who owns the document masters?
The firm does. Every master is a Word document the firm can redline, and the engine drafts from the firm's own library. Your document architecture stays yours, not a vendor's.
What does a client actually experience?
A link, usually by text or email. The interview greets them by name, asks one plain English question at a time, and teaches as it goes, with short attorney guides opening right where questions arise. It saves automatically, resumes on any device, and for a couple it gathers the whole household, both spouses' contact included, in a single sitting.
What happens with complicated files?
They reach an attorney, every time. Estate tax exposure, a special needs beneficiary, long term care concerns, a blended family, a minor named where a minor cannot serve: the system reads what it collects, flags those situations, and routes them to attorney review before any quote goes out.
Which documents does the engine draft?
The complete Massachusetts plan: revocable trusts for single clients and joint trusts for couples, the pour over will, durable power of attorney, health care proxy, and HIPAA authorization, all composed from the same interview answers. This is drafting, not mail merge: article structures change with the family, and the credit shelter architecture appears when the estate calls for it.
Where does client data live?
Encrypted in transit, stored with established United States cloud providers, and delivered into the firm's own practice management system. We run no advertising trackers and never sell data. The details are in our Privacy Policy and on our Security page.
What does it cost?
Pricing is set with each firm around volume and scope, and it costs a fraction of the staff time it replaces. The demo ends with a number for your firm.
How fast can a firm launch?
Days. The interview link works the moment we turn it on, branding and fee rules are set in the first conversation, and document masters are shaped with the firm over the first week. There is nothing to install.
